Our Specialist BLoT Van

Mark your calendars for 12 February 2025 because Bugle Library of Things (BLoT) is officially launching its brand-new Outreach Van—and you’re invited to join in the celebration! This exciting development is made possible by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, close partnerships with local organisations, and unwavering support from the wonderful Bugle community. What’s Happening? The Outreach Van launch event will be held at 11:30 on 12 February 2025 at Bugle Village Hall, at New St, Bugle, Saint Austell PL26 8PG. *You'll need to have a special email link to RSVP to the event, so please reach out to us via our Contact page if you're a partner organisation or representative that has been missed out.* We’ll be unveiling how this mobile hub will bring BLoT’s shared resources, community-focused programmes, and creative inspiration right to the doorstep of those who need them. Our dream is to make borrowing, learning, and neighbourly connection accessible to everyone—and the Outreach Van is our next big step in achieving that vision. Why It Matters: Community First: The Outreach Van is designed to serve Bugle and the surrounding areas, providing easy access to tools, equipment, and learning resources. Local Partnerships: We’ve teamed up with organisations across the region to ensure the van can effectively meet diverse needs—from DIY enthusiasts to families in search of fun activities. How it was Funded: The funding was allocated from Cornwall Council's Community Levelling Up Programme, on behalf of the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Food, Fun, and Festivities: No Cornish celebration would be complete without pasties! We’ll have delicious food and drink on hand for everyone to enjoy.
